Here’s the other colors I got out of my 7.

Mine had wispy like wing feathers but later on her whole body became silkied. At first I thought she was frizzled!

It is from meyer hatchery in Ohio. Mypetchicken sources their birds from them but claim it's from different stock That's why some are exclusive to one and not the other. Fir example I think meyer has a sage egger bantam but mypetchicken doesn't. Both have green queen bantams however.

Ohhhh ok... now i get it. Id rather go to the source!!

I found the green queen silkied versions on mpc.. let me check out Meyer's site..

I ordered from MPC. Meyers have only straight run. Mine was shipped from Ohio. That’s why I think it’s from them.I’ve ordered from MPC many times. Only a boy polish once and never lost a chick.

I’ve never seen wispy feathers until this one. They don’t look barbless like the two silkie ones. Did they look like the picture of my white one with a little black?

Actually I think she did! But interestingly enough she became silkied later on I'll take a new picture later today

Do either of you have grown ones laying yet? I'm curious if they have the goose sounding egg song of a silkie, or HOPEFULLY, something not as atrocious
