Yea, i need to keep my other bantams comfortable, so everyone needs to be relatively the same size. But these are mixed bantams with silkie bred in! And sexed!!

No... wait a bit, should be any time. Some of mine were complete antisocial grumpy butts, but after eggs, they totally changed personality.

Do you think it's because they were late summer hatches? July 12 isn't that late imo, because I also ordered some standard birds too from that hatch and gave them to a friend, and he said they began laying eggs early this week
