Green Queen or Green King?

Bummer. We will have to reach out and see what the hatchery says to do. We can’t keep roosters in our area thank you so much

I have the same issue…one of the chicks I hatched this year is Bert, not Bertha… can’t keep him, and no one is gonna want a barnyard mix roo.

That’s exactly what we said lol. Flora is actually Floro. Hoping to find this guy a home with some research. I don’t have it in me to cull him.

Hello! We got a Green Queen from Meyers Hatchery and I am worried it is a cockerel and not a pullet. She is 6 weeks today and has the biggest comb of the bunch and is pretty anti social a bit aggressive. Any thoughts? She is the one with the red comb in the pictures. Appreciate it.

Well, Green Queen is the name of the breed so even though it's a cockerel, it's still technically a GQ. Confusing, for sure.
