I posted about this before, and nobody responded, but now I have finally downloaded a photo. Has anyone ever seen this before? It has happened twice that I know of (I hope that people that I've given eggs to haven't found this too!). I have 4 female khaki Campbells.

Haven't seen it B4 but eeewwwwww!! But I do occasionally see something in eggs & I don't know what the stuff it. Hope some one can help you with that. Good luck.

It is just a piece of tissue that sloughed off during the eggmaking process. Just pick it out like you might do with the blood spot on the egg on the left and cook it up.

That is nothing at all to worry about, or to eat.

Have done so more than once, and it's nothing.

You might not want to sell such an egg if it were candled and a 'spot' were found inside.

But that 'gray matter' as we call it here won't harm you one bit
