Green, watery poo, falling asleep, not eating, but definitely drinking! Thoughts?

Yep. Just got back. No worms or coccidiosis. Continue antibiotics for 2 more days since she's perked up since being on them. We're not sure what's going on but hopeful she'll make a speedy recovery. Trying to get her to eat something is the next goal.

Did the vet mention tube feeding?

No. He didn't and I wouldn't feel comfortable with that. She's been pecking at food off and on all day. I am syringing in water periodically too. I have her outside with the flock hoping that will encourage her as well.

Update:
It's been 2 days with no marked improvement for Little Girl. I'm struggling with what the right decision is. She's barely eating or drinking. I'm syringing water (with antibiotics) into her mouth alternating with electrolytes. She just seems really disinterested. She is walking, making noises, and pretty alert. I'm trying to let her sleep as much as possible.

I did let her out to free range with the girls yesterday. She went thru the motions but her crop was essentially empty again. Poos remain the same-watery, green solids, yellow mucus.

Any further thoughts?

Can you consult the vet by phone and explain no improvement - possibly they can give you something better?

I'm actually wondering if I'm under dosing her on antibiotics which would explain why I'm not seeing marked results.

I read that a chicken drinks about 1 cup of water per day and that the dosage would be 1/16th per 1 cup. But I also just read that the proper dosage if Duramyacin is 3/4th tsp per quart. My math skills aren't the best and I'm trying to work out the dosage from there. However 1/16th sounds like it's not enough. And I also read that it can take up to 7 days with Duramycin.

I'm not opposed to calling the vet back.

I'm also considering getting Tylan 50 which I've read is a better, faster acting antibiotic.

Any thoughts on any of this?!?

Gosh, I wish she had some more descript symptoms so I could pinpoint what is going on.

Maybe she ate something toxic while free ranging? Have you checked her for any bites from a poisonous critter?

I'm pretty sure she picked something up either from the compost pile or from a puddle (both of which have been removed from the yard). I have given her a thorough exam and the vet did as well. Unless we're totally missing a wound or something (and that's completely possible), I think whatever is going on with her is internal. I appreciate your help and advice.

I'm going to increase the antibiotic dose by an 1/8th of a tsp and see what happens. Then decide if I'm going to keep her separated or let her go back with the flock. I have to go back to work tomorrow so this is a hard decision.

Tylan50 works fairly well for respiratory related infections, but...I'm not sure in your case that it would be that effective. Duramycin may not knock out what's going on with your girl either.

I agree...it's really hard to know what to do for her. I don't think she has any respiratory issues. I'm being really careful when syringing meds but she does breathe hard while I'm administering the meds. Once we're done with that though she's fine (respiratory wise).
