Green, watery poo, falling asleep, not eating, but definitely drinking! Thoughts?

Oh boy, LOL Kathy @casportpony is the mad mathematician and resident med lady.

O.K. Hopefully she will be along to check my math:D

The package you have - Duramycin dosage is 1.5 Tblsp per gallon. (1.5 Tablespoons = 4.5 teaspoons)
So... that would equal 1 1/8 teaspoon per quart.
There's 4 cups in a quart - so...that would be 1/4teaspoon + arrghh (a smidge - 1/32tsp) per cup.

Now I'm sure Kathy will say to weigh it:D I don't have a scale - so, I believe that Duramycin is fairly "forgiving" on dosage, so would opt for a little more than less. So go with 1/4 tsp. plus a little more. That's the best I can do:(

No. He didn't and I wouldn't feel comfortable with that. She's been pecking at food off and on all day. I am syringing in water periodically too. I have her outside with the flock hoping that will encourage her as well.
It's a lot easier than it sounds, and I could teach you. Get a kitchen scale and start weighing her. If she loses 5% of her weight it's time to tube.

Okay. That makes me really nervous!! I have a hard enough time just syringing in water without feeling like I'm aspirating her. Going to weigh her now.

That's what my husband and I came up with. So right now it's safe to say I've been under dosing her. She is a small chicken but still. I've only been giving her 1/16th tsp per cup for 2 days now.

Thank you thank you thank you!

@casportpony she weighs 3.12 lbs. I'm not sure how much she weighed to begin with but she has always been MUCH smaller than the other girls...which is how she got her name Little Girl.
Did you take her to the vet? If you did, they will have her weight.

Okay, so her minimum daily fluid requirement is 70 ml, and that is the minimum. If she were mine I would shoot for twice that. Can you call the vet and ask the how many mg of tetracycline she should get per day? That woul be extremely helpful.
