Yesterday I noticed one of my Silkies a little more lethargic than normal. I picked her up and rested her chest in the palm of my hand and immediately clear liquid came out of her mouth. No smell. I isolated her and noticed she’s having watery green poop. Crop is large-ish and squishy. I immediately stop food and water for 12 hours. No wheezing, no coughing, no sneezing, no discharge from mouth or nose anymore, normal breathing. The rest of the flock is fine. After 12 hours I started back up with small amount of apple cider vinegar water and plain yogurt with scrambled eggs. I’ve also give 2 small doses of monistat. I’m really not seeing much if any improvement. She’s still got ruffled feathers and not moving around much. She will take water and food from a syringe/spoon. I don’t see any worms in her poop but am I missing something?? Any help is appreciated!!!

How old is she?
Photos of poop and hen?
Does she lay eggs?

Withdrawing food for a day is o.k. but I would make sure she's got access to water during waking hours.

Has she also gone broody - could this be the cause of her ruffled feathers? If not, a fecal float can let you know whether you need to treat for Coccidiosis and/or worms. Sometimes a fecal float is not possible, but it would be up to you whether you feel that she may benefit from treat of worms and Coccidiosis. Generally you will not see worms in poop.

I would follow this article on treating for crop issues - dose for monistat is there too, you may want to make sure you are giving the correct amount.
