We have some Greenfire Buff Sussex juvenile large fowl available.

Six birds total. Must take all. $200 takes all.

We just have too many breeds at present and have been given the opportunity to get an almost extinct breed (Lamona). So we have decided to sell/trade the Buff Sussex.

Will consider trade for meat breed goats (females) or bottle calves.

Buyer payes all shipping cost.

This is listed locally. First to click Buy it Now gets it.

We can deliver to central/north central Arkansas this week for cost of fuel.

Would also consider trade for females of breeds we are keeping. Chocolate/Black Muscovy; Buff Duck; Buckeye; Buff, B/B/S Orpingtons in Bantam or Large Fowl; Buff Chantcler; RIR. All must be exhibition quality.

These were hatched from eggs that arrived from several different breeders, at a few weeks apart. All are Greenfire stock, just different ages. Best we can tell, there are to males and 4 females. However, no guarentee on gender. Seldom have I missed it on gender, but I have had a pullet start crowing at 6 months or so. We have a nice Black Orpington male that we ALL thought was a girl until about two months ago. He just suddenly decided to show his true gender. Some English Class breeds are very slow maturing. Most Heritage breeds are difficult to sex until at least two months old. The larger the breed, the slower the maturity. My guess is these will get very large.

So you're not interested in milk goats? I also have some young doelings that are nubian x kiko. They clean up pastures just as well as meat goats;-)

I love the Nubians. My brother has a registered Nubian Dairy in Oklahoma. But he can't go anywhere. Milking twice a day. If we had a Nubian we would allow it to nurse its meat cross kids. We would consider a Nubian x meat does in trade.

Danyelle (11) has been playing with these Buff Sussex. I turned around yesterday while working on some cages and she was holding one. They are supposed to be saving us feed and free ranging. Not roosting on my daughter's hand!

Anyway, I guess following us around like puppies is a good thing.
