Cute! How are they doing so far? Are you happy with them? I've been going back and forth on deciding to put in an order for them from Greenfire as well. I've also been considering hatching eggs from Foxfire. Are these from the Rees line, or the production line?

The production line girls do have more salmon colored breast so far. 3 out of the 5 lol more crele than cream. My cockerels are Jill Rees line. They are extremely aggressive toward me for their age . They have been very heathy and I have challenged thier immune system. I had pheasants, guineas and turkeys in the brooder with them , some I hatched , some from another hatchery. I also purchased death layers from greenfire and they are the same age. The death layers are much better tempered than the legbars both the Pullets and the cockerels. The legbar Pullets are scitish and the cockerels are aggressive compared the the death layers and turkeys they where raised with. All the chicks are doing well outside now , in spring time weather swings in Pa. I bought them as I wanted pretty eggs and I didn’t like the temperament or egg color of the Americaunas , that I had. So I am happy that they are heathy. If you want actual cream, you should order the Jill Rees line. People tell me that legbar roosters are notoriously aggressive and these are. The one I purchased are ok with the other birds but agressive toward me, so they may be good flock protectors.

I have a Legbar and 3 beilefelders from green fire. All sweet hearts. My Legbar is only 10 months old so she doesn’t lay but from those 3 fielders I get a lot of eggs, and when they breed it stay true if u don’t mix the flock of course....

I will be excited to see the egg color on your legbars. Do you remember if you got the Jill rees line or the production line?

I don’t remember but she has a peachy creamiest tan feathers on her chest, I think she from the Jill Rees I’ll get better pics if it helps she’s always on my highest roosts in the run, ever since I planted trees In there run

I did have someone freak out when they seen her pic and they begged me to let their rooster get her so they can have the fertile eggs....but she doesn’t lay yet, and he’s a big big boy, I’m too scared to breed her yet 0.0
I get really scared for my turkeys breeding . It is not a loving mating ritual. Lol .

You could send her some of her eggs to hatch when she lays if you have a rooster of course.
