they're both parts of the digestive system so are connected, though I don't know how precisely. My response was just in connection with your request for suggestions about her having a hard crop.

I did another round of olive oil and a massage around 8 this morning. Came back to check in on her at 9 and her crop was soft and squishy and she had some loose stool in the crate. I have been giving electrolytes also. Still not acting back to normal but the crop does seem to have went down drastically.

I let her spend some time with her friends while they all free ranged yesterday afternoon and she seemed to be moving around and eating and drinking. She even went up with them last night!

Cold wet days my guess is pasturella .I had fowl got it once water soluble penicillin saved the day.The way things got now good luck finding it.I heard some say never give penicillin to fowl but my experience it worked wonders for this .Cheers
