I would clean as gently as possible and spray with Blu-kote to protect it---put it in a confinement for a few days and It should heal. Good Luck

Green skin can sometimes being bruising, but that looks like it is scabbed.Is it dry or goopy? I read your threads about the duck attack. What did your vet say to do for wound care? I would apply some warm saline soaks to her wound and apply some plain Neosporin triple antibiotic ointment twice a day. I like BluKote for Some things, but that wound looks too deep and serious, so an antibiotic ointment may help to heal the skin. Is she eating and drinking okay?

Saw vet today. Leg looking good but going to keep bandaged up for a few weeks yet. Got antiseptic ointment to apply on wounds. He thought it looked good overall. No pond action but she got to take a shower today!

Wow! Ducks heal fast...she has grown most of her feathers back. Started laying eggs again and went into nesting mode. She still limps abit but has made great progress!! Soo happy for her!!
