Greens for ducks

Ok so I was wondering if ducks can eat carrot tops I have not been able to find anything on them eating tops I thought I would ask you guys before I just give them the tops

Of course they can! Ducks will eat pretty much anything that will fit in their bills. Plus Carrot tops are healthy. And..Id like to give you a big warm welcome to BYC!

Thank you and I thought they would be good for them I just wanted to be sure before I gave it to them

With some ducks it's matter of will they eat it, not can they eat it.

As my ducks got larger and explored my yard more, I found that they even liked taro leaves and stems. they also liked my dahlia (flower) stalks, the more mature stems, but not the new growth or leaves.

There are things that ducks still eat which might make them sick but other than knowing that ahead of time, you may just need to let them experiment to find out what things that they can eat safely.
