Greens for Poults - how soon?

My 3 poults are just 2 days old and I would like to give them some greens (we have oodles of grass!)

how soon can I give them greens?

I'd wait until at least three days old. Afterwards offer them some finely chopped grass. They may not eat much at first, but should over a few hours learn that they like it.

Afterwards give them only as much as they can clean up in ten minutes or so once a day. As they grow older you can chop it more coarsely until you reach the point you can give it to them as-is. Dark green leafy vegetables (turnips, mustards, kale, collards, etc.) are very good as well.

that is very helpful. I did try them with some chopped up today but they were more interested in having cuddles on my hand lol
