Hello folks, I live on a small farm about a hours drive from the ocean . I have a degree in livestock and poultry production. Worked as a farm manager for a poultry processor and then worked for APHIS(USDA) for a number of years. Then a resturant chain that sold chicken & Biscuits. Recently I broke my back due to a paragliding accident and have had to retire. So I started actually farming, hobby farming my wife calls it. I have chickens , turkeys, pigs ,cats and a loyal jack russell. Found this site by accident a couple months ago and have enjoyed reading about folks from all over this great land of ours. As a new egg on this site, I feel lucky to be in the company of some wonderful people, hope I can give back some of what I have learned here!!
