Good luck with your fox problem. Do check out the links others have offered. I'm sure you already know, but foxes can come around anytime of day, which makes them more dangerous, I think, than those whose feeding times are more predictable.

Hello Peeps, Hopstar from Ireland here i keep some ex battery farm hens and after 3 year suddenly have a fox problem.
Welcome to BYC, hopstar. We have fox here in California, USA too. Trapping and culling in accordance with local laws is the only way to control predator populations. Good luck to keeping the flock healthy and safe.

Make sure your coop and run are built really well. Nothing should be able to chew, dig or rip anything apart. Don't use chicken wire, but hardware cloth instead. And if these foxes are getting your birds while free ranging, you may need to use some electric fencing or only let them out with supervised free ranging to keep them safe.

Good luck and I hope you can get these critters under control soon!

Hello peeps...this is Lorry from LJ Ranch in Lawrenceville GA. Just starting my little flock with Silkies I rescued. What fun to watch them enjoy their new home. Can I put silkies with other breeds ??

Silkies really need to be with their own kind only. You might keep them with other bantam breeds and watch how they all interact. Silkies can be beat up by others because they do have the disadvantage of not seeing well. It helps to trim the feathers out of the eyes.

Good luck with your babies and welcome to our flock!

Glad you joined us! Good luck with that fox! When I lived in Ireland we also had one visit, but we managed to scare it off.
