Hi, just wanted to introduce myself. We currently have 2 hens, 1 pullet and 2 chicks. We had chickens previously a few years ago until we came home one evening and they were gone. Started again 3 years ago with 2 a Buff Orpington (love this breed) and a Amerucana (lovely bird, just found out she is considered lavender in color). We added to our flock this year with a Wyndote (Wyn Dandy) and a Barred Rock but something got the Barred Rock (Lynn), we also lost at another time one chick that we got for meat, so we decided to get 2 more so we got another Amerucana (Henny Penny) and another Barred Rock (WallE). Love having the girls and watching them run around the yard and coming when called. Live in the suburbs so no Roosters.
