Hello,
I'm brand new to chickens, and am currently raising 11 mail-order bantams following the advice I've found here.

Currently I have 5 sexed bantam Rhode Island Red females, 5 sexed bantam Dominique females, and 1 sexed bantam Dominique rooster. I hope. Only 90% accuracy on the sexing I am told...

These chickens are a lot of work but hilariously fun. My wife and I are very much enjoying the experience. We're located in the middle of North Carolina, and are working on finishing up our coop now.

Looking forward to interacting with you folks.

Now to go post in the "Raising Baby Chicks" forum, as I have a lingering issue with one baby that just won't resolve.

Hi, JudgeMontrose, glad you've joined us! I'm new to the chicken world, too, with Easter Eggers raised from a day or two old who are nearly 7 weeks old now - amazing and amusing little dinosaurs! There's such a wealth of information and experience shared here; it's an amazing, friendly chicken-loving community!
