Im in southern caCalifornia, just ordered a chicken coop kit and three chicks. Im just winging it. Advice is welcome. Getting three day olds next week. Buff orpington, rhode island red and a barred rock. Any input on the breeds?.. I have 2 little kids and look forward to this eggcelent adenture..
