Parrish Alabama
Hello! It is a delight to be here. We have for quite some time used these forums to answer several chicken questions we have had in the past. In fact our splash silkie Truman owes his corrected spraddle leg to an ingenious tutorial hidden amongst these forums. So after more experience under the belt we have decided to create a username and going the BYC community!
My husband and I live on, and operate a small 3 acre organic farm in Parrish Alabama. We have one gorgeous son named Cedar. He will be 1 the beginning of August. So - lots of excitement at the farm during these summer months. Babies leading to walk, flowers blooming, veggies ripening, and little cockles ascending into rooster-dom. :) we have around 45+ peeps here on the premises. 4 bourbon red turkeys, silkies, polish, d'uccles, ameracauna, EE,RIR, partridge rock, blrws, giants, cochins...and some assorted feed store mixes. We have 2 gorgeous female great pyrenees an English Shepard and a few hard working cats. We love our little homestead and strive every day to live it more sustainably than the last!
