Hi everyone,
I've been lurking these forums for about 5 weeks since I got my 6 chicks. I must say, the wealth of information available here is second to none. Thanks to many of you, I have designed and constructed my coop and run. I also have constructed PVC feeders and nipple waterers. I would have been totally lost without BYC.
My chicks have been in the coop since last Friday. Yesterday they ventured out the pop door on their own accord, today they figured out how to go back in as well.
My wife thinks I'm nuts(she may be right) but I've been talking about getting chickens for the past few years and now that I have them she says I'm totally obsessed. Every time I get on my PC she asks me if I'm on that "chicken page again".
Anyhow, thanks again to all of you for the many useful posts.
