Hello all,
I'm fairly new to the chicken world. I currently have 6 Isa Browns, and like how personable they are, but not very thrilled with how uniform their coloring is, so I've ordered some new chicks through mypetchicken.com and have some light brahma, australorp, buff orpington, silver lace wyandotte & black jersey giant's coming on 4/21 and am super excited, but my family just doesn't understand my excitement. lol

My family/friends make fun of me for my chicken pets. No family get together can go by without some kind of comment lol, they just don't get it! They sure don't complain about eggs though

You are not alone...If I want to talk "chicken", I have to come here to BYC since no one around here wants to hear about it anymore! Thankfully everyone here WANTS to hear about chickens!
