We're planning to get 5 chicks in the beginning of August. If anyone has any experience with Alamo Hay & Grain ,,in Alamo, CA, would love to hear from you. They tell me they have chicks all year round. Planning to get 2 Ameraucana, an Orpington, a Cochin and maybe one other docile laying type. They say they'll have Ameraucanas but I have since read that true Ameraucanas are rare and hard to get. So will I end up with Easter Eggers most likely?
