Long time reader, first time poster.

Had a small 5 hen flock for 3 years, but they got wiped out by a raccoon a month ago. Very sad, but a friend just gave us 5 new three month olds (4 hens and a roo)---so we're back in business.

I'm going to need help with the new ones though, so that's why I signed up.

Here's one of my poor old hens, Hillary, before the raccoon got her. We named her that because she only had one wing--the left wing! My dog Lincoln is standing guard in the background.

Cool name for a dog as well. My dog is named Churchill. You should be able to get tons of advice on the forums to get you back up and running! Welcome aboard!!
