Greetings from Gainesville, FL Newbie to BYC, but not to Chickens! Lol!

Figured I'd finally quit ninja'in the site and just join in already since I've basically been stalking BYC for all of you wonderful people's chickeny wisdom for the last 2 years! And I have to say that there hasn't been a question that I've had so far that I haven't been able to find the answer to thanks to all of you and that's why I finally decided to join the club too! So anyhow, I'm babbling, sorry guys

A little about me. I raise Serama, Americauna/Easter Eggers, Lavender Orpington, and soon Australorps again,I lost my favorite & only hen to a fox but I've got her son and he's quite stunning(now I just have to find him some hot *chicks*), sorry I couldn't resist!

I'm a bit of a cheesy goofball!I have a mini farm(2 1/2 acres) & I also raise LaMancha and LaMancha cross milking goats!I love herbal and natural things. Working with my hands,drawing,writing poetry, and all different types of music. Anyone want to know more about me just ask, I'm pretty easy going! It's very nice to officially meet all of you and thank you for all of the help over the last 2 years that you supplied me with! You guys are lifesavers and my chicks thank you!

I hope you enjoy being an active BYC member. As you have probably seen, there are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Thank you CTKen, I'm sure I will! I have been basically ninja stalking the site for the last 2 years, just kidding, but seriously I have used it A LOT when a chicken question was just baffling me or I couldn't get a straight answer from other sources. And I've always enjoyed reading all of the posts everyone puts up and the way that you all treat each other, even when there is a difference of opinions, there's always respect and an open minded attitude from what I've found. And that's one of the many reasons why I just kept coming back, that's why this time I finally went; "Okay, I get it. I'm staying with BYC, signing up now!"

That's me and my expert self finally coming to an agreement! I know I can't be the only one who does that, am I?

Absolutely not! Many people lurk before they decide to join - probably most, in fact
