Hello!
My partner, three kids and I have been raising hens since March. All of us are vegetarian, so we just eat the eggs. We started with three and within two days, Rosie became prey to our dog. Then we added four more. Establishing a pecking order is brutal! We lost two more, one to the neighbors dog and one to mysterious causes while we were in Alaska. So needless to say, we have four ladies left in our flock and we won't be adding to it until it cools off a bit here, so November. I have been using the forum for information the whole time, so I thought it best that we come out from lurking and introduce ourselves. Thanks for being a world of information!
