I'm so happy to find this community! I can definitely use all of your expertise and advice! We had chickens years ago. They had a nice coop but I didn't realize how many predators we have around here! This time around the chicks will have a sturdy enclosed run! I have 1 Rhode Island Red (lost one), 2 Barred Rocks, 2 Araucanas, and I just introduced two slightly younger Buff Orpingtons. Everyone is getting along very well. Thank you for letting me join you!

please check out the Learning Center, and then maybe head over to the predators threads, coops and runs.

If you go to "where am I, where are you," in the social forum you can locate and post on your state thread. Let the locals tell you how they deal with predators, the climate, and where to get the best buys on feed, chicks, whatever.
