Hello! Newbie here -- both to chickens and the forum. Learned so much reading here already. We're starting out with five girls -- a Copper Maran, two Easter Eggers, a Chocolate Orpington, and one mystery mutt that I posted in the "ID my chicken" section! They're about three months old, and I'm anxious to learn more -- and start getting eggs!

I have BO but have never seen a Chocolate Orp - can google, but would love to see a pic of yours

Likely you will start enjoying those eggs in 6-8 weeks?

Thanks, everyone! Here's a pic of the Choc Orp. She's still skittish, so no good standing pic yet. But hopefully this gives an idea. She's still getting all her luscious feathers in. Thanks again for all the warm welcomes!
