That space article was especially useful, and makes me feel a bit better about our plans. I was worrying about the Eglu Cube being too small, even though most people said it would work with 4 hens. It sounds like the extra run space and periodic free ranging will help mitigate any potential issues. It was the only prefab we liked the looks of, and we didn't really have time to build. Getting the chickens during social distancing while the whole family is home to help was too good an opportunity to pass up, you know? Besides, we can use it as a tractor in the future after we build a bigger coop.
