Greetings from NE Ohio

Hi, Dana. I am glad to meet you. I have been feeding herbs to my chickens and they seem to like them. I can't tell you I have healed them or improved their health, but their eggs have very strong shells, bright yellow yolks and that thick white you get with a fresh egg.
I feed:
Dandelions
Plantains (Broadleaf & English)
Hawkweed
Clover (white & red)
Chickweed
Nasturtiums (all)
Oregano (every day)
Basil (Genovese, African Blue, Thai, and Spicy Globe)
Malabar spinach (in hot weather - it's getting too cold here for that now)
Pea plants
Spinach
Kale
Cabbage
very occasional lettuce, including wild lettuce
Smartweed leaves & occasional flowers
Buckwheat leaves
Marigold petals nearly every day in season

Thank you for sharing this.
Do you have comfrey? My flock loves it.
Nice meeting you too.
