Greetings from New Mexico

Just getting back into backyard chickens after several years off. My first chicken was a plucked buff Orpington that I randomly chose during a White Elephant gift exchange (much to the relief of other party goers...). I am starting from ground zero, again so here I am.
No hens yet, just looking at options that will best fit my situation.
