Hello!
I'm Wind, or Chris, I answer to both! My daughter, grandson, and I live on ten acres of mostly-wooded land in the middle of nowhere in central Ontario. We are slowly attempting to set up a small homestead. Currently I have four Lavender Orpington chicks (looking to add Brahmas), two pet rescue roosters (Dorian the Gray, Ameraucana/Maran mix, and Joe, Sliver-laced Polish), as well as a flock of thirteen Muscovy ducks which are my main passion and I intend to breed a variety of colours from. I also have rabbits that I'm raising for meat, three house cats (two Abyssinians and one black longhair domestic), and an American Foxhound who turned a year old in April.
My daughter also has a variety of bantam chickens (including some silkies), and a small flock of Cayuga and Magpie ducks, and her own three housecats one of which was dumped on our property as a tiny barely-weaned kitten. >.<
I'm most probably going to be lurking, only popping up when I'm in trouble, lol!
