Greetings from Ontario

Hello everyone! Thought I would introduce myself as I am sure you will be hearing from me quite a bit over the next few weeks and months.

My name is Michael and I am currently living on a rented farm just north of Toronto. My wife and two daughters (4 year old and 9 month old) will be welcoming 6 new chicks into our home at the end of April. These are a special dual purpose breed from Frey's hatchery.

As of next Monday, I will be taking over the parental duties at our house for the remainder of the maternity leave (about 3 months). So, in addition to raising my two girls, tending a 3,000 sq ft garden, and trying to keep my sanity, I will be raising chickens for the first time.

Please be gentle with me because I have a feeling I will be on the edge in a matter of days
