Greetings from rainy SW Washington!

Glad to meet you, and welcome to BYC. Best wishes rehoming or otherwise repurposing those excess roosters.

Others have had good experiences rehoming their roosters by posting ads to:
1. Craigslist locally
2. Facebook local poultry interest groups
3. BYC has a rehoming forum, and you can use the thread for your state as well to post.

In all cases, be sure you let folks know your town or county, so they know how far they would have to drive to get that rascal. It might also help if you are able to post a glamor photo of the rooster in question. Include such info as you would like to know when shopping for a rooster:
a. Breed if you know it (we can often help you determine that with good photos)
b. Age
c. Where you got it (if you are able to tell the hatchery that would be even better - you can ask the store if they know)
d. Temperament - is the rooster good with people? With kids? With the hens? Even with other roosters?
e. Health, any vaccinations, plus any illness in your flock or that rooster.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow

You should be able to tell the roos from the hens very soon. Definitely stop by our What Breed and Gender forums, @Boppo has left you with the link along with other great links and suggestions. Welcome aboard!
