Hi,
We're in the Bay Area and our first time raising chicks. They are so cute. We have 6 of them. But might have a rooster in one, not sure. Love the site!

Oops, sorry. I didn't mean to be insensitive to all the terrible weather everyone might be having. If anything, I believe our weather will be changing too.

Chicken.Lytle - your water hose froze over? Wow, that's pretty cold. Hope all goes well. Don't burn yourself with the hot water. Nice photo of your rooster. :)

Where in the Bay Area are you. I'm in the East Bay near Pinole. I know what you mean about the weather. It's upper 60s in Feb! The chickens love it, the grass is growing, life is good. You may want to check out the Bay Area BYCers thread in the Where am I?, Where are you! section. A lively group of good people.
