I am an American living in Tasmania (Australia), just starting out on our backyard chicken journey! We rescued a chicken that our neighbors left behind and built a whole chicken area for her! We had her for a wonderful 3 months before she passed away. Peacefully in her favorite spot.. seemed to be old age. But we have recently gotten 2 new rescued girls (from a hoarding situation)! and I want to learn even more about chickens so I know we are doing the best for them. I will be asking what breeds my girls might be because I've been trying to figure it out on google with no luck.
