I just got into chickens this past Spring and since I keep coming back to this site for all of its great info, I thought I would sign up.
I have three sexed pullets (no idea what this means. the sexed part anyway), two RIR pullets (still chicks), one Brahma pullet and one Brahma rooster. They seem pretty happy and provide us with 3 to 4 eggs a day. Right now they have the run of our garden which is about 2500 square feet. They would have been completely free to range, but apparently my neighbour has something in her flower bed they absolutely adore. I've tried to buy off my neighbour with plenty of fresh eggs, and it seems to be working. I still let them out in the yard when I can supervise them.
Other than that, it seems I am always working on something the chickens need and look forward to the day when the fences are all up and I have a permanent coop.
