Greetings from Texas

Hello BYC! A little about our flock: we have a black silkie rooster, a buff orpington hen, and 4 red sex link hens. Our orpington just hatched her first clutch of eggs (after 2 failed attempts). we are overjoyed, and look forward to this journey!
im actually really disappointed in the forum so far. i have asked, begged and pleaded and private messaged folks about these chicks. about their mature colorings. Not ONE person has acknowledged these attempts on public threads. just "aw how cute". and private convos also ignored.
how will this forum be useful in the future if my queries are simply ignored; as they seem to be presently? are all these ppl on the BYC forum JUST BOTS? sure seems likely.
respectfully disappointed,
J

Welcome to BYC.
There is no set in stone rule about what color your mixed chicks will be. Mixed birds don't have color rules to follow.

@The Moonshiner come give your opinion.
