Thank you all for the welcomes! Learning a lot reading all these threads. I've just processed my first 3 drakes a friend gave me. Had some difficulty identifying if these drakes are okay to eat. I don't know what "normal" internal organs look like. Any ideas where to get information? If the organs are "ify" and the meat still looks okay, are they edible?
I would think if the meat looks normal, it's okay to eat. You aren't eating the offal. Try posting your question on the Meat Bird Forum.
