Your chicks can easily fly out of there or predators drop in. Chicken wire only keeps chickens in but, doesn't keep predators out. 1/2 inch hardware cloth is the way to go plus some kind of top on your run to protect them.
 
Henry here from Panama City. Just finished the coop in time for my 6 new chicks to move in. Coop features fully self contained automatic door with simulated hardwood flooring as well as four nesting boxes. The chicks are a mix of Rode Island Red and Rode Island White. I was told they are called Rode Island Buff. Since this my first adventure with chickens I have a lot to learn.
Great coop! How did you make the roof? I need to put one on mine but I don't know how to join the roof parts together.
