Thank you for the welcome. This seems like a great community so far. I am definitely taking in as much information as I can and will certainly use some of the advice I've been given.

We have decided to go forward and become BYC people. Currently running through ideas to convert an old plastic shed into a coop.
Need to cut some windows, chicken door, nesting box, etc and clean it all up. Maybe a new paint job if the weather improves.
