Hello fellow 'chickeneers'. Greetings from The Home Flock.

Just checking in and introducing myself. I am a chicken enthusiast and blogger from Australia. I enjoy vital discussion about all things chicken.

Looking forward to some pleasant interaction with fellow enthusiasts.

Thanks and bye for now, or as we say in Australia, "see ya later."

Definitely stop by the Australian thread to chat with your chicken neighbors. Michael has left you with the link.

Great to have you aboard and welcome to our flock!

G'day, and welcome to BYC! We have lots of members from Australia and you might want to check in with them at the "Australia--Six states...and that funny little island link" by clicking on https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/598568/australia-six-states-and-that-funny-little-island We are all chicken enthusiasts (perhaps chicken obsessed would be more accurate). What kind of chickens do you have?
Thanks, I'll have a look. I'm not new to chickens but I am new to this forum. Must say I have visited here often but never before joined up. My main breed for many years has been the Australian Langshan, a smaller stylish modified Langshan fowl with a history of excellent utility characteristics. I also have or have had Rhode Island Red, Dark Barred Plymouth Rock (in Australia we breed the dark and light barred strains separately), Speckled Sussex, Welsummer and British type Croad Langshans.

What? No Australorps? That's anti-Australian! Just kidding (although I do love Australorps).) You do have a very nice of breeds. Good luck with your flock.
