Greetings from the Jersey Shore

:welcome

I'm in Wyoming and we've had plenty of winter weather already (today we're at 9*). So far, so good with the flock! Having a heated waterer is helpful and as long as your birds have a well-ventilated draft-free coop, they should be fine.

Thanks for joining us!

Glad you're here JerzeyChick!

If you haven't yet, please make your chickens a FIRST AID KIT for any issues that would arise.
It's definitely better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it.

Also, make sure your coop(s) have a proper amount of VENTILATION. It's more probable that your chickens would get frostbite from improper ventilation than the cold temperatures.
