Howdy Folks ! I don't know much yet, but it is clearly time to expand my part-time Ag. efforts into chickens. Recent retiree from second career with lots of gas left in the tank. My Grandma raised Barred Rocks and I loved them as a little boy - can't wait to get some of my own. I am always glad to hear from anyone. I am particularly interested to hear from folks with a similar climate to mine. (Western NC, East TN, North GA, etc.) What breeds do well for you? Problems and fixes? Joys and pitfalls?
