Welcome to BYC from east of you. I'm new to chickens and the forum also. Can't wait until my chickies chase and catch the grasshoppers, katydids, cicadas, and anything else similar.

I'm hoping that it's just the camera angle picking up a pine shaving or something. I don't think she's a he, but we'll see. Anyway, they're all quirky in their unique little ways. Fun to have around and definitely wifie's pets.Hi andfrom Ohio. So glad to have you aboard. Great selection of birds.I love those BRs. It looks like one of your BRs is a roo.![]()

It doesn't take very long at all for them to start chasing bugs, and mine also love meal worms, but they only get a couple of those right now. But the grasshoppers, well they're all over those. Reminds me of a game I use to plat as a kid, "Get-the-guy-with-the-ball" One chick will broadside another and streal it's hopper-bug and then run like dickens while the others chase it around until it too gets broad-sided. Great sport!Welcome to BYC from east of you. I'm new to chickens and the forum also. Can't wait until my chickies chase and catch the grasshoppers, katydids, cicadas, and anything else similar.
