Hello! I'm a chicken newbie. Just bought 12 chicks a couple weeks ago from my local farm supply store. My chickies are in my kitchen right now til it warms up a bit outside. Love watching them grow and seeing changes almost daily. Very excited for my first eggs in a few months. I have 3 Black Australorps, 3 Buff Orpingtons, 3 Araucanas, and 3 Rhode Island Reds. I want to be as natural as possible in raising them. I have a moveable coop and some electric fencing to protect them from neighbors dogs and other predators. I hope to be able to move them around my large yard to let them free range as much as possible.
Any suggestions are most welcomed!!
