Greetings from Upstate New York

Hi my wife and I live on 27 acres in the Fingerlakes region of Upstate New York. We currently let or neighbor (who is an actual farmer ) use 25 acres for hay and corn. My wife's friend started keeping chickens a year ago and has had great success. So to make along story short I'm planning our first coop. I enjoy this forum very much and have been "lurking " in the background for a while getting ideas for my eventual coop build. Now we have joined and hope to share our experiences in the near future. We would like to say in advance thank you for any help or guidance you can provide in the future as weare definitely newbies.

Well we have started our Journey . 2 straight run Silkies, 2 Black Sex Links, and 2 ISA Browns...
