Greetings Chicken People! I've so enjoyed reading posts from this site over the past 5 months. I'm a new chicken momma and have relied on the collective wisdom found on these pages. I have three lady birds and I adore them. I may as well have bought three puppies I'm so in love with these birds! They have lived inside my house for the last five months (in a tiled bedroom) awaiting the completion of their coop--which took way, way longer than expected. Also, as you know, it's crazy hot here and I couldn't risk losing them to the 108 temps this summer. They are now enjoying their third day outside.
I also have two Cayuga ducks, a miniature horse, two dogs, and four very old kitties.

I think the air conditioner is for show as there is no way to plug it in! My husband was, let's say, enthusiastic about moving the chickens out of the house. LOL
And so here is an air unit with no electrical outlet.
Funny man.
