In the Brooder
Greetings,
I'm new to keeping chickens. Currently have five, free-ranging in my backyard (1/4 acre). We've been getting free "over the hill" chickens from a local poultry operation and find these chickens (red stars) to remain very productive -- far out-producing our other chickens.
What prompted me to come here is to ask a question about one of our "over the hill" red stars. We got her in moult, and she has an inflamation above her vent. I'll post a proper thread later tonight once I can take pictures. I just gave her a bath and she's using some "alone time" to dry off.
edit: and here it is https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/chicken-hemorroids.1183039/
