Jim Bob McKee here in Valdosta, GA. I have been starting a small farm of various different birds. California White, Cinnamon Queens, Red Jungle foul, Pekin, Khaki Campbell, Rouan and Welsh Harlequin are what we have currently. We only have a few but maybe next year we can expand some. Just a small hobby now. We will see how it goes.

We are looking for good layers and there aren't many breeders in our area so we are testing a few samples. The chickens are fun but the ducks can be taxing. Thanks for the welcome.

What age are your chickens?
Have they already started laying?

How are your Queens so far?
I know someone who had quite a few of them and they started killing his other chickens/chicks.

They are hanging out with the Red Jungle fowl currently. Only one problem was one of my Jungle fowl got his head peeled really bad. He was picking fights and lost really bad. It has been a really hot summer and I want coops for each breed so once the weather gets more cooperative, I am going to separate them.
