Thanks for the hearty welcome. My wife of 29 years and I are excited about raising poultry. At present we have 7 peafowl. I placed two online orders totaling of 45 chicks I hope will become my breeders. I bought a new 42 egg incubator. I got some books on chickens and willing to take the giant leap of no return! My barn is being renovated for chickens and I plan to build two poultry buildings. The first building is for the peafowl and I hope will be done in a week. The second will follow soon after.

My dream is to raise dual pupose chickens that lay white eggs. I hope this evolves into a small hatchery hobby/ business or I will be eating lots of omlets.
